Hey there! 👋 I’m Vishnu Agarwal, a Senior DevOps Engineer who’s been wrangling cloud infrastructure and automating everything in sight for over 6 years. If you’ve ever wondered who’s behind those zero-downtime deployments or that cost optimization that saved your company thousands—well, that might have been me! 😄

I’m the kind of person who gets genuinely excited about a well-architected Terraform module or a perfectly tuned PostgreSQL query. When I’m not debugging Kubernetes clusters or migrating databases at 2 AM (hopefully not too often!), I’m probably writing about it or sharing what I’ve learned.

What I Do

I specialize in cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and platform reliability. My playground includes AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and streaming platforms. I’ve spent the last few years at Teikametrics building and maintaining infrastructure that handles real-world scale.

My superpowers include:

• 💰 FinOps and cost optimization (because who doesn’t love saving money?)

Experience & Background

I’m currently a Senior DevOps Engineer at Teikametrics (remote), where I’ve been since 2022. Before that, I spent time at Infosys working on payment solutions and healthcare platforms, leading DevOps initiatives and managing teams.

I hold a B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM Institute of Science & Technology (with a CGPA of 8.92, because I’m a bit of a perfectionist 😅) and I’m an AWS Certified Developer - Associate.

Some highlights from my journey:

• Led major database migrations (RDS → Aurora) with zero downtime
• Migrated entire infrastructure to Terraform (because YAML is life, but Terraform is better)
• Optimized costs by migrating to Graviton and GP3 (saved enough to buy a lot of coffee ☕)
• Built custom DevOps tooling that my team actually uses (and doesn’t hate!)

When I’m not knee-deep in infrastructure code or debugging production issues, you’ll find me:
